On 16/09/2008 , one of our guild member maiford was scammed of his items by
a malicious scammer. Please be wary and cautious of your personal information and
please take safety precautions when dealing with either , borrowing of items or game accounts.

Safety Tips :
1. Do not disclose too much of your personal information
2. Try not to borrow equipment to people you do not know well
3. If your friend has to borrow an equipment or wants access to your game account even
when he/she is in their own accounts make sure you get your friend to call you over
the phone to confirm his/her identity and make sure they talk to you and make sure
you recognise their voice. You never know who is really using your friends character.

Example of a scam :

In game account scam
Friend : Hey can i have access to your account?
You : uhh..ok my login id is XXXXX password is XXXXX
-STOP-
Whats wrong here?
You do not know who is in your friends account? For all you know he might
be a hacker in your friends account and his using your friends account to gain access
to even more accounts! It happened before and i believe cases like these are bound to
happen again. Protect yourself from being hacked.

Correct procedure :
Friend : Hey can i have access to your account?
You : uhh..sure but you would have to call my phone , i need to see if its
really you in this account before i hand you my account details.

We already had enough friends and guild mates being scammed/hacked we do not wish
to mourn over more victims do your part as owner of your own account and follow the
safety tips
